Audition Notice

SEEKING:

The Player- Aloof, sardonic, paradoxical. The Face in the Mirror being held up to Nature. An understanding of Theatricality- for better and for worse. An entertainer and seeker of Truth. A Lover of the Medium of Deception as the path to said Truth. A soul from a different generation. Good, and they know it. Being ignored, and they sense it.

The Three Tragedians- Performers on that grind. A strong understanding of what entertainment has been in this ever changing and tiring world. Storytellers. Dreamers of Dreams. Any one of them could play the lead at a moment’s notice, depending on what the desired entertainment is this evening. Compelling and compelled. The first glimpse of a face in a developing polaroid picture.

Alfred- A fourth, named Tragedian. The youngest of the group and the most worldly. Sees the forest for the trees. Doesn’t see their way out of #ThisMess. They deserve better.

Hamlet- Prince/ess of Denmark---Bored by the lack of intellectual stimulation they are surrounded by.

Ophelia- Nymph---Wants what is best for others, at the cost of what is best for themselves.

Claudius- the “King”---the crown tells you so.

Gertrude- “The” king---the text tells you so.

Polonius- Strong grasp of Comedy. Tired. Can I go to bed yet? (Spoilers: Yes.)
